Ghana is a very diverse country. Blessed with a number of tourist attractions and adapted infrastructure, it offers a wide range of activities. Its lovely beaches as well as its many forest reserves make this country a paradise for lovers of nature. Ghanaians are very attached to their customs and traditions. All of which makes this country one of our leading destinations.

DAY 1

Arrival at Accra airport and transport to the Hotel Golden Tulip. In light of the arrival time in the capital, there will be a dinner at the restaurant BUKA.

DAY 2: PLUNGE INTO NATURE

We will begin the tour through the west of the country traversing unique landscapes of abundant forests and mountains. The VOLTA region offers us the occasion to admire nature in all its variety. Night at WLI WATER HEIGHTS HOTEL.

DAY 3: EXPLORING VOLTA

This day will also be devoted to visiting the region. Excursion in dugout canoe on Lake Volta, cultural exchange with the local populations, trekking into the forest to admire the great variety of the ecosystem there. Given the season (April-May), we will attend a puberty ritual of the DIPO ethnic group. Night at the Hotel Volta.

DAY 4: VISIT TO KPANDO

Local handicraft in the city of Kpando will take up our day. Exchange with the women who do pottery and visit to the Kpando Pottery Fesi Shed. We will continue on toward ABURI, one of the greenest areas of the country. Optional jaunt for cyclists who can get away into nature on an organized excursion. DAYS 5 AND 6: EXPLORATION OF THE ASHANTI REGION

We will go this day to encounter the Ashanti ethnic group in KUMASSI. Late arrival and visit to the royal palace devoted to learning about Ashanti culture. We will continue toward Lake BOSOMTWE to spend the night at THE GREEN RANCH hotel. The next day, after a brief excursion on the lake, we will go to the villages of BONWIRE and ADANWOMASSE for an immersion in the rich cultural life of the Ashanti people. In the evening, we will go to Lake Bosomtwe Paradise Resort to spend the night.

DAYS 7, 8, AND 9: VISIT TO CAPE COAST AND ELMINA

Arrival on the coast where many castles stand out, vestiges of the colonial epoch. Three days are necessary to cover all the key points of these two cities full of history. Nighttime visit to Cape Coast, known for its lively streets. The next day, we will make an excursion to KAKUM NATIONAL PARK, one of the beautiful forest reserves in West Africa. We will stay at the Hotel Coconut Grove which offers several fun attractions, including golf, horseback riding, etc.

DAY 10: KOKROBITE AND ITS BEACHES

This day will be devoted to visiting the city of KOKROBITE, far from all the commotion of the capital. We will spend peaceful moments there among the local fishermen in their daily routines. Night at PARADISE BEACH.

DAY 11: IN-DEPTH VISIT TO THE CITY OF ACCRA

We will reserve the last day for visiting the capital. The JAMESTOWN district will interest us for having served as the headquarters of the colonial administration. We will go to the Web Du Bois Memorial Center where exhibits are mounted highlighting Ghanaian culture. Night at the Hotel Paloma.

DAY 12: END OF THE VOYAGE AND RETURN HOME

After a last tour of the city, we will go to the airport in preparation for departure.
