Togo is a small country in West Africa. The diversity of its landscape as well as the hospitality of its inhabitants makes it a dream destination. For that reason our team has thought up a trip that combines nature, culture, ethnicity, and human contact to show you the best of what Togo has to offer.

Like all African capitals, Lomé is a very lively city. We will stay in the Robinson Hotel on the lovely beaches of the capital.

This day we will spend in the city where both animism and Christianity are practiced. After a tour in a dugout canoe of the Togo River, we will go on to Agbodranfo, a village that witnessed the slave trade. Excursion to the slave house and visit to the capital’s artists. We will move on to the amulet market before taking a guided visit to the fishermen’s village near our hotel.

We will cross through beautiful scenery on the way to Kpalimé. Excursion to Mount Agou, then through the cave-dwelling villages, interspersed by exchanges with local inhabitants. We will end the day with an excursion to Kpime Falls. Night at the Hotel Chez Fanni.

On the road north, we will make a stop in Atakpamé. We will also make an excursion into the forest to appreciate the natural beauty. We will make contact with local ethnic groups like the Kotokoli and the Losso. Night at the Hotel Le Sahélien.

This part is culturally rich. We will make contact with the Kabye people, the oldest ethnic group in the country. Next, we will make an excursion to Tamberma country, famous for its round huts called Tatas. Night at the Hotel Concorde.

After two days, we will undertake our return to the capital, Lomé, by way of Kpalimé.
